Here we come!

For the past few weeks we've been getting ready for the move.  Word of advice for people coming with pets- to avoid frustration fly directly from USA to Grenada.  We booked with Caribbean and are transiting through Trinidad & Tobago and are going through a lot of hassle and difficulty in order to bring our small dog. It would've been worth the extra money for us to book with American.  Can't wait to be in Grenada!

One month until the new chapter in my life begins!

One more month until the new chapter in my life begins.  I can't wait!  Lots of feelings of excitement mixed with anxiety right now.  I know this is my calling in life, and can't wait to start on this wonderful journey.  So far I've managed to pack up some of our things and sell a lot of our belongings for our move.  A lot of things to do before we come to Grenada, so I will post an update hopefully before we leave.

Just purchased plane tickets!

I'm so excited now we're one step closer to Grenada and my future as a physician.  I've just booked our tickets online through bt-store.com for Grenada.  We'll be arriving early August 3 with BWIA Airlines... Can't wait!

Plane Tickets

I still have to get the plane tickets to Grenada, and it seems like the more I wait the more expensive they get.  I'm surprised how expensive it is.  Hopefully I can get a good deal sometime in the next few weeks.  Will keep you posted!

It's June 8, and I've just decided to start on this Blog.  I'm 28 years old.  My wife, baby, dog and I will be going to Grenada soon in August where I will begin Medical School at St. George's University.  I've decided to create this blog to track my "adventure" for myself and others who may be interested.  Stay tuned for more...
